Off duty policeman dies in accident along MCE; fellow officer arrested for causing death by negligent act

A 33-year-old man, believed to be an off-duty policeman, died in a collision involving two motorcycles along the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) this morning. A 27-year-old man, also believed to be an off-duty police officer, has since been arrested for causing death by a negligent act.

The 33-year-old man was pronounced dead by paramedics who arrived at the scene, following the accident that occurred around 5.10am. The 27-year-old officer reportedly sustained injuries.
