A domestic helper posted on Facebook to thank her employers for allowing her to learn to drive and obtain a driving licence in Singapore.
Ms Merna Astinar gave a shoutout to Mr Oñg Thiam Huat and Mrs Er Shu Qìan of Tampines St 71, the couple she works for, on the Singapore Incidents public group on Thursday (Apr 14).

Taking the number one spot on LinkedIn’s list is Unilever—which is responsible for such well-beloved brands as Magnum, Dove, Knorr, and Ben & Jerry’s.

A video of a man skilfully lifting the gantry barrier at a carpark has sparked concern among the online community as others might follow his example.
The video was posted on the Facebook page SG Road Vigilante – SGRV on April 13 with the caption, “Driver of white Volkswagen Golf shares how to avoid paying parking fee at HDB (Housing and Development Board) gantry.”

Man hacks wife with chopper at Beach Road, nearby strangers throw chairs, metal plates, stepladders, dustbins and more to stop assault
Graphic videos of a man using a chopper, and two other knives, to viciously slash a woman said to be his wife in a gory incident that occurred on Thursday (April 14) are circulating online.
Various videos caught the man assaulting the woman in an alley with a kitchen knife in what appeared to be a shocking, and bloody attack on the victim.

A video of yet another brawl breaking out in Singapore is circulating online, sparking concern among netizens, as a police officer on the scene was outnumbered.
Complaint Singapore member Jalaluddin Akbar forwarded a short clip of the incident on Thursday (April 14), showing multiple men engaged in a fight outside a building along Aliwal Street.
