Another oil spill, this time on PIE - 2 lanes closed

Land Transport Authority has tweeted that 2 lanes along Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) are closed due to an oil spill caused by an accident.

Due to an oil spill caused by a traffic accident, 2 lanes along PIE (Changi) aft Jurong Town Hall Rd exit is closed to facilitate recovery.

On 29 January, an oil tanker got into an accident with a car on a section of the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) after Mandai leading to the Pan-island Expressway, which brought traffic on a stretch of BKE to a crawl for more than half a day.
